NVC3 Board Bio - Gordon Siu

Gordon Siu, MSN, RN, ASC-BC, SCRN, CCRN, PCRN, TCRN, NRP  is the Stroke Program Coordinator for MyMichigan Medical Center-Midland in Michigan. After graduating with his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Queen’s University, Gordon began his healthcare career in Emergency Medical Services first as an Emergency Medical Technician and later advanced to Advanced Care Paramedic before transitioned to nursing.  He still maintains board certification as Nationally Registered Paramedic and teaches EMS classes.  Gordon attended Delta College for his Associates degree in nursing and completed his Master of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain University, with focused specialty in Nursing Education. He believes quality education and engaging training develop better clinicians.

Prior to being a stroke coordinator, Gordon had been staff nurse in Cardiac Stepdown, Surgical Intensive Care, and Neuro-Trauma Intensive Care.  Aside from his specialty nursing certifications in critical care, stroke and trauma, Gordon is proud to be a Board-Certified Advanced Stroke Coordinator (ASC-BC).
