We are excited for you to join us for our live in-person conference in Houston, Texas at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. This conference is focused on provision of state-of-the-science, acute stroke clinical and imaging-based diagnosis, methods for determination of stroke pathogenic mechanism, acute treatment decision making, complication avoidance methods, and both primary and secondary prevention. The educational program focuses on the needs of acute and subacute stroke patients as managed by stroke system managers, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, physician assistants, stroke coordinators, stroke educators, and bedside stroke nurses.

**Additional Publishing Course Information:
 This preconference workshop aims to build participants' skills in authorship. Manuscript anatomy will be explored for various types of articles, including review papers, original research, quality improvement studies, and case studies. Participants should bring works in progress to be shared and developed during the preconference, and ideas for creating original published contributions that would be of interest to stroke clinicians internationally. Assistance will be provided with editing and development of key manuscript sections based on article-type. Factors associated with selection of journals to target publication of works will be included, and a discussion of the reviewer role as well as managing responses to reviewers when working on revisions will be featured.
