NEED TO RE-CERTIFY YOUR NVRN-BC?
The NVRN-BC board certification needs to be renewed every five years (expires on January 31st). The process simply involves completing a NVRN Recertification Application to make sure that you have been professionally active in the field. Be sure to review the current guidelines in detail. After internal review of your application by NVC-3, you will be recertified for another five years.

The ANVP-BC board certification needs to be renewed every five years (expires on August 31st). The process simply involves completing an ANVP Recertification Application to make sure that you have been professionally active in the field. Be sure to review the ANVP Recertification Handbook in detail. After internal review of your application by NVC-3, you will be recertified for another five years.

ANVP Recertification Criteria

1. 1. Currently holds Advanced Neurovascular Practitioner (ANVP) certification
   2. Current licensure in advanced role specialty in country of origin
   3. Minimum of 1000 (>1000) hours of neurovascular practice hours in the past 5 years
   4. Recertification by one of the following:

• • Recertification by Examination

Successful completion of the ANVP board certification examination

OR

• • Recertification by Continuing Education

Evidence of completion of a minimum of 100 (>100) hours of continuing education pertinent to neurovascular clinical practice.
