Kerri S. Remmel Lectureship award
The Kerri S. Remmel Award for Excellence in Multidisciplinary Stroke Care recognizes multidisciplinary efforts focused on improving the delivery of care across the continuum – from stroke symptom awareness, prehospital evaluation and management, acute treatment, complication avoidance, rehabilitation, and reintegration into the community.
Dr. Remmel was a deep reservoir of knowledge, a leader to all who sought better care for stroke patients, intensely patient-centric, professionally passionate, and had a contagious zest for life.
