Changes to JC Primary Stroke Centers Performing Mechanical Thrombectomy
The Joint Commission recently sent out prepublication requirements that will go into effect this July 2022 for Primary Stroke Centers performing mechanical thrombectomy. Changes include additional requirements for on-site critical care coverage, written protocol development based on mechanical thrombectomy clinical practice guidelines, and additional outcome review.
