MT2020 Focuses on the Role of Stroke Coordinators
The leadership of MT2020, a global health campaign founded by the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology to improve and accelerate access to acute stroke care and reduce barriers to mechanical thrombectomy for large vessel occlusion, recently met to discuss the important role of stroke coordinators in negotiating systems of care to reduce barriers to acute stroke treatment. ANVC President-Elect Dr. Anne Alexandrov serves as the Stroke Committee Co-Chair and we want to support this initiative. We invite you to participate in assessing the current state of the Stroke Coordinator Role and please forward to your stroke coordinator colleagues so that we might have a robust response to share with the MT2020 leadership.
