November is quickly becoming known as THE MONTH for great Nursing and APP Stroke Educational Opportunities! Join us at the Hilton Atlanta to finish off 2019 by furthering your acute stroke knowledge and attaining advanced certification.

Thanks to a partnership between the Association of Neurovascular Clinicians (ANVC) and the Society for Vascular and Interventional Neurology (SVIN), we are excited to share with you the following conference events:

  • November 18th & 19th – ANVC’s Advanced Stroke Coordinator (ASC™) Rapid Review Course and Certification Examination
    Become one of the first certified Stroke Coordinators in the country! This 1.5 day, CEU supported, rapid-paced course will review essential content for coordinators intent on bringing their BEST to the role; the certification examination will be held in the afternoon on November 19th. Introductory pricing now being offered: $250 for the Review Course and Exam or $150 for the Exam only. Register Now! 

     
  • November 19th – Advanced Neurovascular Practitioner (ANVP™) Rapid Review Course (0800-1200) and Certification Examination (1300-1700)
    Are you an APP with at least 5 years’ experience in acute stroke practice? If so, here’s your opportunity to attain the elite ANVP certification. A 4-hour morning Rapid Review Course will be followed by the certification examination in the afternoon. ANVC Member Pricing:  $350 (Exam Only) or $550 (Review Course & Exam).  Non-Member Pricing:  $450 (Exam Only) or $650 (Review Course & Exam). Register Now!

     
  • November 20th – The SVIN Annual Stroke Center Day (0730-1530)
    SVIN’s annual Stroke Center Day has become well known across the USA as an opportunity to learn from leaders in clinical practice, stroke administration, and certification. If you work as a Stroke Coordinator, nurse, or APP at a certified Stroke Center, or find yourself leading the Stroke Center development process at your hospital, this is a NOT TO BE MISSED annual event! Single Day registration for the SVIN Annual Meeting, so you can attend this day only!Fees are: SVIN Member: $75; Non-Member: $150.Register for this via the SVIN Annual Meeting registration site and select “One Day Only”.  

     
  • November 20th – Advanced Stroke Emergency Support (ASES) & Basic Stroke Emergency Support (BSES) Courses (both courses offered simultaneously from 1530-1730)
    Have you been looking for a course that you can take back to your hospital and use to credential your local EMTs and paramedics (BSES) or emergency physicians and nurses (ASES)? Consider attending these train-the-trainer events offered by SVIN to enrich your local providers’ ability to identify and respond to stroke emergencies!Enter the SVIN Annual Meeting registration site and select BSES or ASES to register.

  • November 21st-23rd – The SVIN Annual Meeting
    The SVIN Annual Meeting includes a variety of content of interest to nurses, including provocative debates related to important stroke management issues, extensive coverage of hyperacute stroke diagnosis (imaging and clinical findings) and treatment, the role of APPs in a variety of practice settings, secondary prevention controversies and emerging therapies, how to get published in scientific journals, staffing and workload for stroke nurses and APPs, topics in neurocritical and hemorrhagic stroke management, and clinical trials updates. SVIN includes numerous opportunities to networking and social opportunities and is offered at a discounted price to APPs and nurses.
